Nashville for Labour Day Weekend
Nashville, or Nash Vegas, The Home of Country, The Home of Hot chicken, Music City, or Bachelorette Central. You can call it a lot of things, but it is definitely a booming place in America.
We really just spent the weekend listening to country music, doing a hot chicken and BBQ tasting, and learning to line dance. Pretty chilled out. A few highlights:
The Country Music Hall of Fame: This is the place where you will see Carl Perkin’s blue suede shoes, Hank Williams’ guitar and everything in between. A great museum and well worth the time.
If you want a little bit of European culture, head over to Bicentennial park where you will get to witness a full-scale reproduction of the Parthenon!
And for a bit of line dancing, visit Robert’s Western World.
